Many of the dogs we have available are not listed below due to backlog/work load. The best way to see ALL our dogs is to come to our facility where they can all be found in one location making it easy for you to interact with many during your visit. For a map and directions, click here.

Steps to adoption with Poodle Rescue of Houston:

1. Visit the dogs at Poodle Rescue. We are conveniently located. Get a map.

2. You will be interviewed by one of the officers of the rescue group.

3. If approved, you can then fill out the application. There is no on-line application.

4. When you find the dog you want to adopt, you can then pay your full adoption fee.

5. As soon as our vet has fully vetted your new buddy you can take him/her home. In some cases that will be the same day you adopt. In other cases, it may be a week or so depending on the particular dog and our backlog.

We always have dogs in our program that have conditions or injuries that are expensive to treat. These dogs are struggling to get well. We desperately need your help to get them on the road to recovery and adoption.
