Poodle Rescue of Houston is a small organization that saves 250-300 poodles from homelessness or euthanasia every year. We have no public or government funding. We are a 501(c)(3) organization. We provide a large amount of vet work to the dogs we take in. Most of the adoption fees we receive don't cover the bills. We are not part of a national rescue group that can provide us with funds.

We also provide a central rescue buiding to house and care for the dogs. This means utilities, maintenance, lots of food. laundry, etc. We take care of all their needs. We groom, feed, vet, transport,medicate,and socialize these dogs. We don't depend on foster homes to care for these dogs.

When you adopt, you are saving a life, not buying a dog!
